This 5-day journey through the historic region of Mewar offers a fascinating experience of Rajasthan’s royal heritage, magnificent forts and spiritual destinations. The tour begins from Jaipur and proceeds towards Udaipur, famously known as the “City of Lakes.” Surrounded by the Aravalli hills, Udaipur is one of the most beautiful cities in Rajasthan and is famous for its stunning palaces, lakes and rich history.

During the stay in Udaipur, travelers will visit the grand City Palace overlooking Lake Pichola, the beautiful Jagdish Temple and the peaceful Saheliyon Ki Bari gardens. A boat ride on Lake Pichola offers breathtaking views of the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir.

The journey then continues to Chittorgarh, home to the majestic Chittorgarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fort reflects the bravery and rich history of the Rajput rulers and offers spectacular views of the surrounding region.

The tour further proceeds to Pushkar, a sacred town known for the famous Brahma Temple and the holy Pushkar Lake. Pilgrims and travelers visit Pushkar for its spiritual atmosphere, temples and vibrant local markets.

Day 1

Day 1 – Jaipur to Udaipur: Journey to the City of Lakes

The journey begins from Jaipur as travelers head towards the beautiful city of Udaipur, often called the “City of Lakes.” The drive passes through scenic landscapes, traditional Rajasthani villages, and rolling hills of the Aravalli range.

Upon arrival in Udaipur, check into the hotel and relax after the journey. The city is known for its royal palaces, tranquil lakes, and romantic atmosphere that reflects the rich heritage of the Mewar kingdom.

In the evening, visit the famous Lake Pichola, one of the most picturesque lakes in Rajasthan. Travelers can enjoy a peaceful boat ride while admiring the majestic City Palace and the beautiful Jag Mandir located on islands within the lake.

Later explore the lively local markets around the old city where traditional handicrafts, miniature paintings, and Rajasthani souvenirs are available.

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 3

Day 3 – Udaipur to Chittorgarh: The Fort of Courage

After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Chittorgarh, one of the most historically significant cities of Rajasthan. The highlight here is the magnificent Chittorgarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The fort stands as a symbol of Rajput bravery and sacrifice. Travelers explore famous structures inside the fort such as Vijay Stambh, a towering victory monument built by Rana Kumbha.

Another important attraction is Padmini Palace, associated with the legendary story of Rani Padmini.

Visitors also explore ancient temples, palace ruins, and scenic viewpoints across the vast fort complex. The history of battles, courage, and sacrifice connected with Chittorgarh makes this visit truly memorable.

Day 5

Day 5 – Pushkar to Jaipur: Return Journey

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the return journey to Jaipur.

On the way travelers may visit the famous Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the revered shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. The dargah attracts devotees from all communities who come here to seek blessings.

After spending some time at the shrine, continue the drive towards Jaipur. The road passes through scenic desert landscapes and small towns of Rajasthan.

Arrival in Jaipur marks the end of the tour. Travelers return home with wonderful memories of majestic palaces, heroic forts, sacred temples, and the rich cultural heritage of the Mewar region of Rajasthan.

Day 2

Day 2 – Udaipur Sightseeing: Royal Palaces and Gardens

After breakfast, begin exploring the cultural and architectural treasures of Udaipur. Start with a detailed visit to the magnificent City Palace, one of the largest palace complexes in Rajasthan. Built by generations of the Mewar rulers including Maharana Udai Singh II, the palace offers stunning views of Lake Pichola and the surrounding city.

Next visit the beautiful Jagdish Temple, a historic temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and known for its intricate stone carvings.

Later continue to Saheliyon Ki Bari, a charming garden built for the royal ladies. The garden features marble pavilions, lotus pools, and decorative fountains that create a peaceful atmosphere.

You may also visit Fateh Sagar Lake, another beautiful lake surrounded by hills.

The evening can be spent exploring local markets or enjoying cultural performances in the city. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 4

Day 4 – Chittorgarh to Pushkar: Sacred Desert Town

After breakfast, proceed towards the holy town of Pushkar, located near the city of Ajmer.

Upon arrival in Pushkar, check into the hotel and begin exploring this sacred destination. The main attraction is the famous Brahma Temple, one of the very few temples in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma.

Next visit the sacred Pushkar Lake, surrounded by numerous ghats and temples where pilgrims perform religious rituals and prayers.

The peaceful spiritual atmosphere of Pushkar offers a unique experience for visitors. In the evening, explore the vibrant local market known for handicrafts, jewelry, and colorful Rajasthani textiles.

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Pushkar.

  • 0% Cancellation for any land package bookings 45 Days before departure.

  • 30% Cancellation for any land package bookings 15 Days before departure.

  • 100% Cancellation for any land package bookings 7 Days before departure.

  • Cancellation of Air/ Train Tickets subject to cancellation policy of respective train/ flight operator.

Advanced Preparation

  • As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.

  • Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.

  • It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
