Day 1
Day 1 – Arrival in Kolkata: Cultural Gateway of East India
The journey begins with arrival in Kolkata, the cultural capital of eastern India. Known for its colonial heritage, vibrant markets, and rich traditions, the city offers a fascinating introduction to West Bengal.
After checking into the hotel and relaxing for a while, proceed for local sightseeing. Visit the magnificent Victoria Memorial, an iconic marble monument that reflects the city’s colonial history.
Later visit Kalighat Temple, one of the most sacred Shakti Peeth temples dedicated to Goddess Kali. The temple attracts thousands of devotees every day.
In the evening, travelers can visit the banks of the Hooghly River and enjoy views of the famous Howrah Bridge, one of the busiest cantilever bridges in the world.

Day 3 – Gangasagar to Sundarban: Into the Mangrove Wilderness
After breakfast, check out and travel towards the famous Sundarban region. The journey involves a combination of road travel and boat transfers through river channels and creeks.
The Sundarbans form the largest mangrove forest in the world and are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The region is known for its complex network of tidal rivers, mudflats, and dense mangrove forests.

Day 2 – Kolkata to Gangasagar: Sacred Confluence
After an early breakfast, begin the journey towards Gangasagar, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in India. The journey includes a scenic road drive followed by a ferry crossing to reach Sagar Island.
Gangasagar is the place where the sacred Ganges River meets the Bay of Bengal. Pilgrims from across the country visit this holy site to take a sacred dip at the confluence.
Visit the famous Kapil Muni Ashram, an important temple associated with the legend of Sage Kapil. The peaceful beach and spiritual atmosphere create a unique experience for travelers.

Day 4 – Sundarban Jungle Safari: Land of the Royal Bengal Tiger

This region is famous for the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger, which inhabits the forests of the delta. Although sightings are rare, travelers may also spot spotted deer, crocodiles, wild boars, and many species of birds.
