Tour Summery

This 8-day Chardham Yatra takes you to the four sacred Himalayan shrines – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. The journey is not just travel, it is an emotion. Snow-covered peaks, holy rivers, peaceful temples, and divine chants… every day feels blessed.

You will travel through beautiful valleys, rivers like Bhagirathi and Alaknanda, and small mountain towns filled with devotion. Some days include scenic drives, and some days include short treks (especially Yamunotri & Kedarnath).

It is a perfect mix of adventure, faith, and nature. Yes, legs will get tired… but heart will feel light and peaceful.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot

Morning pickup from Haridwar. Begin your spiritual journey towards Barkot. The drive passes through Mussoorie and beautiful Himalayan valleys. You will see lush green mountains and flowing rivers throughout the journey.

Enroute enjoy scenic views and small hill towns. By evening reach Barkot and check into your hotel. Relax and prepare for the Yamunotri trek next day.

Overnight stay at Barkot.

🛕 Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Early morning drive to Janki Chatti. From here start 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. You may go by walking, pony or palki.

After reaching, take darshan at Yamunotri Temple and offer prayers to Goddess Yamuna. Visit Surya Kund (hot water spring) and Divya Shila.

After darshan, trek back to Janki Chatti and drive to Barkot.

Overnight stay at Barkot.

🛕 Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi

After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. The journey is scenic with views of rivers and mountain ranges.

On arrival, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Spend evening at leisure near Bhagirathi River.

Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Early morning drive to Gangotri (approx 100 km). The road follows the Bhagirathi River with breathtaking views.

Upon arrival, take holy dip in the river (if possible) and visit Gangotri Temple. Attend the peaceful darshan and explore nearby surroundings.

After prayers, drive back to Uttarkashi.

Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

🛕 Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

After breakfast, drive towards Guptkashi. This is a long but scenic journey via Tehri Dam and river confluences (Prayags).

On arrival, check in at hotel. Rest and prepare for Kedarnath visit next day.

🛕 Day 6: Guptkashi – Kedarnath

Early morning drive to Gaurikund. From here start 16–18 km trek to Kedarnath Temple. Options like pony, palki and helicopter are available.

On reaching Kedarnath, visit the sacred temple of Lord Shiva. Experience the powerful and divine atmosphere surrounded by snow peaks.

Overnight stay at Kedarnath (basic accommodation).

🛕 Day 7: Kedarnath – Badrinath

Morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple. After breakfast, trek back to Gaurikund and drive towards Badrinath.

Upon arrival, take bath at Tapt Kund and visit Badrinath Temple for darshan. Evening aarti is highly recommended.

Overnight stay at Badrinath.

🛕 Day 8: Badrinath – Haridwar

Morning visit to Mana Village (last Indian village near China border) if time permits.

After breakfast, begin return journey to Haridwar via Joshimath and Devprayag. Enjoy the scenic drive through Himalayan valleys.

By evening arrive at Haridwar. Tour ends with blessings of all four Dhams.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
Though Bharatatva provides all three meals, that is breakfast, dinner and Bharatatva treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.

Guests will be needed to pay an advance booking amount of Rs.10,000/- per person to raise invoice and Air/ Train Ticket Blocking/Booking.

50% Advance at the Time of booking after receiving Invoice and rest 15 Days prior to tour start date.
Any Air/ Train Bookings to be made should be paid 100% in advance
In case of offers applied with more than 40% Discount then 100% in Advance.
0% Cancellation for any land package bookings 45 Days before departure.
30% Cancellation for any land package bookings 15 Days before departure.
100% Cancellation for any land package bookings 7 Days before departure.
Cancellation of Air/ Train Tickets subject to cancellation policy of respective train/ flight operator.
