Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 – 24 May | Bangalore to Mysore

The journey begins as you arrive in Bangalore, where the fresh excitement of travel sets the tone for the days ahead. After a brief meet and greet, you set off towards Mysore, leaving behind the busy city and gradually entering a landscape that feels calmer and more rooted in history. The road journey is smooth and comfortable, giving you time to settle into the rhythm of the trip.

On the way, you pause at Srirangapatna, a town that quietly holds stories of Tipu Sultan. Walking through its historical spaces, there is a sense of stepping back in time. The architecture and surroundings carry a calm dignity, offering a glimpse into a powerful past without the rush of modern life.

By afternoon, you reach Mysore and check into your hotel. After some rest, the exploration begins with the magnificent Mysore Palace. As you walk through its grand halls and intricately designed corridors, the scale and beauty of the palace leave a lasting impression. It feels less like a monument and more like a living memory of royal heritage.

Later, you head towards Chamundi Hills, where the view of the entire city unfolds below you. The breeze, the quiet temple surroundings, and the golden light of the evening create a peaceful atmosphere.

The day ends at Brindavan Gardens, where music, lights, and fountains come together in a lively display. As the water dances to rhythmic tunes, there is a sense of joy and lightness.

You return to the hotel with a feeling of fulfillment, marking a perfect start to the journey.

Day 2 – 25 May | Mysore to Coorg

The morning in Mysore begins at a relaxed pace, with breakfast setting you up for the journey ahead. Soon, you leave the city behind and begin your drive towards Coorg. As the road unfolds, the surroundings slowly transform. The urban structures fade away, replaced by greenery, winding roads, and the quiet presence of nature.

Your first meaningful halt is at Bylakuppe, home to the Namdroling Monastery. The moment you enter, the atmosphere changes. The silence feels deeper, and the sight of golden Buddha statues standing tall brings a sense of calm. The gentle chants and peaceful surroundings offer a rare pause, allowing you to simply be present.

Continuing ahead, you stop at Nisargadhama, a small island formed by the Kaveri River. Walking across the hanging bridge, you step into a space filled with bamboo groves and open natural areas. It feels unhurried and refreshing, a place where time slows down just enough for you to notice the details.

As you move closer to Coorg, the air becomes cooler and the landscape richer. Coffee plantations begin to appear, stretching across the hills, adding a unique character to the region.

Upon arrival, you check into your resort, surrounded by greenery and silence. The evening is free, allowing you to absorb the environment at your own pace. Whether it is a short walk, a quiet moment with a cup of coffee, or simply sitting back and relaxing, the setting does most of the work.

The day gently comes to an end, welcoming you into the calm embrace of Coorg.

Day 3 – 26 May | Coorg Sightseeing

The day begins with the soothing stillness that Coorg is known for. As you step out, the fresh air and soft sounds of nature set a peaceful tone. After breakfast, you begin exploring the region, moving through landscapes that feel untouched and inviting.

Your first stop is Abbey Falls. The path leading to the falls takes you through coffee plantations, where the scent of coffee lingers in the air. As you approach, the sound of cascading water grows louder until the waterfall comes into view, powerful and refreshing. The mist and greenery create a setting that feels both energetic and calming at the same time.

From there, you head towards Raja’s Seat. This viewpoint opens up to a wide stretch of hills and valleys, offering a view that feels endless. Sitting here, you can sense why it was once a favorite retreat for kings. The breeze carries a quiet charm, making it easy to lose track of time.

You then explore Madikeri Fort, where history quietly coexists with the present. The structure stands as a reminder of Coorg’s past, simple yet meaningful. Nearby, the Omkareshwara Temple adds a spiritual dimension to the day, with its unique architecture and serene surroundings.

As the day unfolds, you may also experience a coffee plantation visit, understanding the journey of coffee from plant to cup. It adds a personal connection to the landscape around you.

By evening, you return to your resort, carrying a sense of calm and contentment, as Coorg slowly becomes more than just a destination.

Day 4 – 27 May | Coorg to Bangalore

The morning in Coorg arrives quietly, almost as if the place is reluctant to let you go. After breakfast, you check out and begin your return journey to Bangalore. The drive takes you through the same beautiful landscapes, but now with a sense of familiarity and reflection.

As you move away from the hills, the greenery gradually gives way to busier roads and city life. The transition feels noticeable, yet smooth. Along the way, there are moments where you look back at the journey, recalling the calm of Coorg and the charm of Mysore.

By afternoon or early evening, you reach Bangalore and check into your hotel. The city feels vibrant and energetic, offering a contrast to the peaceful days you have just experienced.

The evening is free for you to explore at your own pace. A visit to MG Road or Brigade Road gives you a taste of Bangalore’s lively atmosphere. The streets are filled with lights, cafés, and people, creating a sense of movement and modernity.

You may choose to sit at a café, enjoy local food, or simply walk through the streets, observing the city’s character. It is a relaxed and flexible end to the day, allowing you to unwind in your own way.

As you return to the hotel, there is a quiet realization that the journey is nearing its end, leaving behind a collection of memorable moments.

Day 5 – 28 May | Bangalore Departure

The final day begins at a slower pace, with a sense of closure gently setting in. After breakfast, you prepare to check out, but there is still time to experience a little more of Bangalore.

If your schedule allows, you step out to visit Lalbagh Botanical Garden or Cubbon Park. These green spaces offer a calm environment within the city, where morning light filters through trees and the air feels fresh and unhurried. It becomes a quiet moment to reflect on the journey.

As you walk through these spaces, memories from the past few days come together. The royal elegance of Mysore, the peaceful hills of Coorg, and the vibrant energy of Bangalore all blend into a single experience.

There is no rush today, only a gentle transition from travel back to routine. You may choose to have a relaxed cup of coffee or simply sit for a while, taking in the surroundings.

Soon, it is time to proceed towards the airport or railway station. The drive feels familiar, yet slightly different, as it carries the weight of a completed journey.

As you depart, you carry with you not just photographs, but a feeling of having experienced something meaningful. The tour comes to an end, but the memories of these five days remain, quietly staying with you long after the journey is over.
