This reverse journey starts with Kerala’s greenery and gradually moves towards Tamil Nadu’s spiritual core. Beginning in Cochin’s colonial charm, you explore misty Munnar, wildlife-rich Thekkady, and serene Alleppey backwaters. Then comes coastal relaxation at Kovalam, followed by the iconic sunrise at Kanyakumari. The journey concludes with the sacred temples of Rameshwaram and Madurai.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Cochin – Colonial Charm & Culture

Arrive at Cochin, a vibrant port city known for its blend of cultures, history, and coastal charm. Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to the hotel. After a short rest, begin your exploration with a visit toFort Kochi, a charming area filled with colonial architecture, narrow lanes, art cafés, and boutique shops. Walking through Fort Kochi feels like stepping into a different era, where Portuguese, Dutch, and British influences are still visible.

Later, visit the iconicChinese Fishing Nets, one of the most photographed sights in Kerala. Watching fishermen operate these massive nets against the sunset creates a beautiful visual experience.

You may also explore nearby attractions like St. Francis Church and local spice markets, giving you a glimpse into Kerala’s rich trading history. In the evening, you have the option to attend a Kathakali dance performance, where traditional storytelling is expressed through elaborate costumes and expressions.

Day 2: Cochin → Munnar – Journey into the Hills (130 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, start your scenic drive towards Munnar, one of Kerala’s most famous hill stations. As you leave the coastal plains behind, the landscape gradually transforms into lush green hills, winding roads, and cool mountain air.

En route, stop at picturesque waterfalls and viewpoints. The journey itself is a highlight, with endless tea plantations spread across rolling hills. You can take short breaks for photography and fresh air.

On arrival in Munnar, check into your hotel and relax. The calm atmosphere, misty surroundings, and pleasant climate instantly refresh your mind and body.

Day 4: Munnar → Thekkady – Into the Wild (90 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, known for its wildlife and spice plantations. The journey offers scenic views of hills, forests, and plantations.

Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Later, visitPeriyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of India’s most popular wildlife reserves. You can opt for a boat ride on Periyar Lake, where you might spot elephants, deer, and birds along the banks.

Day 5: Thekkady → Alleppey – Backwater Experience (140 km / 4 hrs)

Advanced Preparation
  • As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.

  • 50% Advance at the Time of booking after receiving Invoice and rest 15 Days prior to tour start date.

  • Any Air/ Train Bookings to be made should be paid 100% in advance

  • In case of offers applied with more than 40% Discount then 100% in Advance.

  • 0% Cancellation for any land package bookings 45 Days before departure.

  • 30% Cancellation for any land package bookings 15 Days before departure.

  • 100% Cancellation for any land package bookings 7 Days before departure.

  • Cancellation of Air/ Train Tickets subject to cancellation policy of respective train/ flight operator.

  • Guest can pay by Cash /Online Transfer/ Cheque/ Demand Draft / Debit card / credit card.
