Nashik – Surat – Bhavnagar – Salangpur – Sasan Gir – Somnath – Porbandar – Dwarka – Vadodara – Kevadia – Nashik

Tour Summery
This journey blends the wildlife and coastal spirituality of Gujarat with the modern marvel of the Statue of Unity, offering a complete and memorable holiday experience.
The tour begins from Nashik, with a road trip to Bhavnagar via Surat and a ferry ride across the Gulf of Khambhat. The next day takes you to the sacred Salangpur Hanuman Mandir, famous as Kashtabhanjan Hanuman, followed by an overnight stay at Sasan Gir, home to the Asiatic Lions. An early morning jeep safari in Gir thrills with sightings of lions, leopards, and vibrant birdlife.
From Gir, the route leads to Somnath Jyotirlinga, where the evening Aarti and Sound & Light Show create a divine atmosphere by the Arabian Sea. The trail then passes through Porbandar, Mahatma Gandhi’s birthplace, before reaching Dwarka, one of the Char Dhams of India. A boat ride to Bet Dwarka, adventurous snorkeling, and darshan at Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and Rukmini Temple make Dwarka both spiritual and lively.
Unlike Option 1, this route skips Rajkot and instead heads eastwards to Vadodara, known for the grand Laxmi Vilas Palace and royal heritage. The highlight of the tour comes next – Kevadia, home to the world’s tallest statue, the Statue of Unity. Visitors can explore the viewing gallery, Valley of Flowers, Jungle Safari, and the spectacular evening laser show. The trip concludes with the return to Nashik, leaving behind memories of both ancient devotion and modern pride.

Day wise Itinerary
Day 1: Nashik – Surat – Bhavnagar (via Jetty)
The group assembles early morning at Nashik, eager for the start of this vibrant Gujarat journey. As the minibus winds through the plains, the chatter of families and laughter of children sets the tone for the trip. Breakfast is enjoyed on the way, followed by a halt at Surat, Gujarat’s bustling diamond city. Here begins the first unique experience – crossing the Gulf of Khambhat by ferry/jetty. As the bus boards the vessel, the excitement is palpable. The cool sea breeze blows across the deck, seagulls hover above, and the coastline slowly fades behind. The children press against the railings, pointing at fishing boats and waves sparkling in the sunlight. After about an hour, you disembark and continue towards Bhavnagar, a port city with a regal past. By evening, check into your hotel and relax. Some may prefer strolling through local markets, tasting gathiya and farsan, while others simply enjoy a warm Gujarati thali at the hotel. The first day blends road, sea, and cultural flavors – the perfect beginning of a memorable circuit.Overnight Stay: Bhavnagar
Day 2: Bhavnagar – Salangpur – Sasan Gir (220 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, the journey resumes towards Salangpur, home to the famous Kashtabhanjan Hanuman Mandir. Revered for its power, the temple is known to free devotees from troubles and evil influences. The atmosphere is charged with devotion as chants of “Jai Hanuman” echo through the air. After darshan and blessings, the group continues towards Sasan Gir, passing through rustic landscapes dotted with cotton fields, camel carts, and colorful village homes. By afternoon, you check into your resort near the national park. The evening is designed for relaxation – enjoy a short nature walk, birdwatching, or a cultural folk dance by the Siddi tribe, whose African roots bring a unique music and rhythm to Gujarat. Dinner is a delicious spread of Kathiawadi cuisine, spicy and hearty, perfectly warming against the cool forest air. Excitement builds for tomorrow’s lion safari – the highlight of Gir.Overnight Stay: Sasan Gir
Day 3: Sasan Gir – Somnath (70 km / 2 hrs)
The day begins at dawn with the much-awaited Jeep Safari in Gir National Park. Entering the gates, the forest comes alive with sounds – birds calling, leaves rustling, and the thrill of anticipation. The safari driver points out a lioness moving gracefully through the bushes, her cubs trailing behind. For many, it is a once-in-a-lifetime moment to watch Asiatic Lions in their natural habitat. Alongside, sightings of leopards, deer, blue bulls, and jackals keep cameras busy. After returning to the resort for breakfast, the journey continues to Somnath, a two-hour drive. By afternoon, you check into your hotel near the temple. Evening is the most magical – as you walk towards the Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple, the sound of conch shells fills the air. The Aarti takes place against the backdrop of waves crashing against the temple walls, creating a divine setting. Post Aarti, the Sound & Light Show narrates the temple’s history – its repeated destruction by invaders and its rebuilding by devotees – an emotional tale of resilience and faith.Overnight Stay: Somnath
Day 4: Somnath – Porbandar – Dwarka (230 km / 5–6 hrs)
After an early darshan at Somnath, you set off along the scenic coastal highway. Midway comes Porbandar, a city forever remembered as the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. A visit to Kirti Mandir, Gandhi’s ancestral home turned museum, takes you back into his simple lifestyle – his childhood room, old photographs, and spinning wheel speak volumes. Just nearby stands the Sudama Mandir, symbolizing Krishna’s eternal friendship with Sudama. Continuing the drive, you pass quaint fishing villages and coconut groves before reaching Dwarka, the legendary city of Lord Krishna. By evening, the grand Dwarkadhish Temple calls. As the flag atop the temple flutters high in the sea breeze, devotees gather for the evening Aarti. The chants, lamps, and collective energy make the experience unforgettable. The day ends with a sense of divine closeness to Krishna’s kingdom.Overnight Stay: Dwarka
Day 5: Dwarka – Bet Dwarka & Snorkeling
This day unfolds with adventure and devotion combined. After breakfast, head to Okha Jetty for a short boat ride to Bet Dwarka, an island believed to be Krishna’s residence. The temple here, simple yet deeply spiritual, offers a glimpse into mythological stories. Returning towards the mainland, adventure seekers gear up for snorkeling in the Arabian Sea. With safety gear and guides, the underwater world of colorful fish and corals leaves everyone awestruck – children especially love the thrill. Later, visit the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, one of Shiva’s 12 sacred Jyotirlingas, followed by the Rukmini Devi Temple, dedicated to Krishna’s consort. Evening is free to explore Gomti Ghat, where devotees float lamps into the river, or shop in local bazaars filled with conch shells, idols, and handicrafts. Dwarka becomes a memory of devotion, family bonding, and joy.Overnight Stay: Dwarka
Day 6: Dwarka – Vadodara (470 km / 8–9 hrs)
After breakfast, the group embarks on a long drive across Gujarat, moving eastwards to Vadodara, the cultural capital of the state. The road passes through fertile plains and bustling towns, with refreshment stops along the way. On arrival in Vadodara by evening, the first stop is the magnificent Laxmi Vilas Palace, four times larger than Buckingham Palace and still home to the Gaekwad royal family. Its Darbar Hall, stained glass windows, and grand chandeliers leave visitors spellbound. A short visit to Sayaji Baug, a vast garden with fountains, museums, and a zoo, offers a relaxing close to the day. Vadodara’s cultural vibe blends royal grandeur with modern energy, making it a memorable stop.Overnight Stay: Vadodara
Day 7: Vadodara – Kevadia (Statue of Unity) (90 km / 2 hrs)
The excitement rises as the group drives to Kevadia, home to the Statue of Unity, the tallest statue in the world at 182 meters, dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. On arrival, you explore the Viewing Gallery, which offers panoramic views of the Narmada River and surrounding valleys. The beautifully landscaped Valley of Flowers blooms with vibrant gardens, while the Jungle Safari and Glow Garden keep children engaged. As evening descends, everyone gathers for the Laser Light & Sound Show projected onto the statue itself – a breathtaking spectacle narrating Patel’s legacy. Standing before this colossal monument, pride swells in every heart. The day feels like a tribute to both India’s past and its modern engineering wonders.Overnight Stay: Kevadia
Day 8: Kevadia – Nashik (420 km / 9–10 hrs)
On the final day, after breakfast, the group begins its return journey to Nashik. The bus ride is filled with chatter, photo sharing, and laughter as everyone recalls their favorite moments – spotting lions in Gir, the divine darshan at Somnath, the boat ride to Bet Dwarka, snorkeling in the Arabian Sea, and the awe of standing beneath the Statue of Unity. By evening, the bus rolls back into Nashik, completing the journey with hearts full of memories and blessings.Tour Ends with Smiles & Gratitude.
