This journey blends spirituality, scenic beauty, and peaceful Himalayan landscapes. Starting from Amritsar, the tour takes you to Kashmir—often called “Heaven on Earth.” You’ll experience serene Dal Lake houseboats, lush valleys like Pahalgam, snow-covered Gulmarg, and Mughal gardens of Srinagar. The trip offers a relaxed pace with a mix of nature, local culture, and iconic sightseeing—perfect for families and leisure travelers.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1: Amritsar to Srinagar (Travel + Arrival)

Start your journey from Amritsar early morning. You can opt for a flight (approx. 1–1.5 hrs) or road travel (approx. 10–12 hrs depending on route and traffic). On arrival in Srinagar, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Check-in and take rest after the journey. In the evening, you can take a short stroll near Dal Lake or visit local markets to get your first feel of Kashmir. Weather is usually cool, so light woolens are recommended.

Day 2: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing of Srinagar. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens—Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi, known for their beautiful layouts and views of Dal Lake. Later visit Shankaracharya Temple for a panoramic view of the city. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, experiencing floating gardens and local life. Return to hotel and relax.

Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg (Approx. 50 km / 2 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Gulmarg, one of the most beautiful hill stations in India. The drive offers scenic views of meadows and pine forests. On arrival, check into the hotel. Visit Gulmarg Golf Course (seasonal) and enjoy the famous Gondola cable car ride up to Apharwat Peak (tickets extra). Snow activities like skiing and sledging can be enjoyed during winter months. Evening at leisure.

Day 4: Gulmarg to Pahalgam (Approx. 140 km / 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam. En route enjoy views of saffron fields and apple orchards. Visit Awantipora Ruins if time permits. Continue your scenic drive along Lidder River and reach Pahalgam. Check-in to hotel and relax. Evening free for a riverside walk or local exploration.

Day 5: Pahalgam Sightseeing (Local Valleys)

After breakfast, explore the beautiful valleys of Pahalgam. Visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari (local union vehicle required). These places are known for their stunning landscapes, snow patches, and crystal-clear rivers. You can also enjoy pony rides or simply relax amidst nature. Return to hotel by evening.

Day 6: Pahalgam to Srinagar + Houseboat Stay (Approx. 90 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar. On arrival, check into a traditional Kashmiri houseboat on Dal Lake. Enjoy a unique stay experience with beautiful lake views. Evening free to relax or take a short Shikara ride. Enjoy traditional Kashmiri hospitality and cuisine.

Day 7: Srinagar Leisure + Shopping

After breakfast, day is free for leisure activities. Visit Lal Chowk market for shopping of Kashmiri handicrafts, dry fruits, shawls, and souvenirs. You can also explore local cafés or simply relax near the lake. Optional sightseeing or second Shikara ride can be arranged.

Day 8: Srinagar to Amritsar (Departure)

After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Srinagar airport for your return journey to Amritsar (flight recommended). If traveling by road, start early for a long but scenic drive. Tour concludes with beautiful memories.

Advanced Preparation

  • As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.

  • Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.

  • It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.

  • A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.

  • Though Bharatatva provides all three meals, that is breakfast, dinner and Bharatatva treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.

  • If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.

  • For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.

  • Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.

  • Guests will be needed to pay an advance booking amount of Rs.10,000/- per person to raise invoice and Air/ Train Ticket Blocking/Booking.

  • Anu Discount/ offer Coupon Codes are to be informed before Raising the invoice.

  • 50% Advance at the Time of booking after receiving Invoice and rest 15 Days prior to tour start date.

  • Any Air/ Train Bookings to be made should be paid 100% in advance

  • In case of offers applied with more than 40% Discount then 100% in Advance.

  • 0% Cancellation for any land package bookings 45 Days before departure.

  • 30% Cancellation for any land package bookings 15 Days before departure.

  • 100% Cancellation for any land package bookings 7 Days before departure.

  • Cancellation of Air/ Train Tickets subject to cancellation policy of respective train/ flight operator.

  • Guest can pay by Cash /Online Transfer/ Cheque/ Demand Draft / Debit card / credit card.

  • For Debit / Credit Card payments 1.8% additional convenience charge will be applicable
