Day wise Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Kathmandu: Spiritual Beginnings
As you land in Kathmandu, the cool mountain air welcomes you with a different freshness. After a warm welcome at the airport, you are transferred to your hotel. The excitement of being in Nepal slowly settles in as you check in and relax for a while.
In the afternoon, your spiritual journey begins with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. The atmosphere here is deeply spiritual. The sound of temple bells, chanting of mantras, and the peaceful flow of the Bagmati River create a powerful experience. Even if you simply sit quietly for a few minutes, you can feel the divine energy around you.
Later, you proceed to Boudhanath Stupa, a massive white dome that stands as a symbol of peace. Prayer flags flutter in the wind while monks walk in slow circles, spinning prayer wheels. The calmness here is truly soothing.
In the evening, explore the lively streets of Thamel. Small cafés, souvenir shops, and local handicrafts give you a glimpse of Nepal’s colorful culture. After a relaxed dinner, you return to the hotel for your first overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 2 – Heritage & Culture of Kathmandu Valley
After breakfast, you head towards the hilltop shrine of Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple. From the top, you enjoy a panoramic view of the Kathmandu Valley. The golden spire shining in the sunlight looks beautiful against the blue sky.
Next, you explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, where ancient palaces, courtyards, and temples narrate stories of Nepal’s royal past. The detailed wood carvings and traditional architecture make you feel like you have stepped into history.
Later, you visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, one of the best-preserved medieval cities. Walking through narrow stone lanes, watching potters at work, and tasting local delicacies make this experience very authentic.
By evening, you return to the hotel, carrying beautiful cultural memories of the Kathmandu Valley.
Day 3 – Scenic Drive to Pokhara
After breakfast, you begin a scenic drive to Pokhara. The road journey is filled with beautiful views of rivers, green hills, and small roadside villages. The Trishuli River flows alongside for a long stretch, adding charm to the journey.
As you approach Pokhara, the landscape becomes more peaceful and open. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. The calm vibe of Pokhara instantly feels different from the busy capital city.
In the evening, enjoy boating at Phewa Lake. The reflection of the surrounding hills on the still water looks magical. In the middle of the lake stands Tal Barahi Temple, adding spiritual charm to the view.
Later, take a leisurely walk along Lakeside Market. Soft music from cafés, cool breeze from the lake, and relaxed atmosphere make the evening memorable. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 4 – Sunrise & Wonders of Pokhara
Early morning, you drive to Sarangkot to witness a breathtaking Himalayan sunrise. As the first rays of sunlight touch the Annapurna range (weather permitting), the snow peaks glow in golden shades. It is truly a magical moment.
After breakfast, continue exploring Pokhara’s attractions. Visit Davis Falls, where water disappears mysteriously into an underground tunnel. Explore Gupteshwor Cave, known for its natural rock formations. At Bindhyabasini Temple, experience local devotion and peaceful surroundings.
You also see the Seti River Gorge, where the powerful river flows deep below the city. The contrast of calm city life and strong river current is fascinating.
By evening, you return to the hotel, feeling refreshed and inspired by nature’s beauty. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 5 – Journey to Chitwan: From Mountains to Wilderness
After breakfast, you bid goodbye to peaceful Pokhara and begin your drive towards Chitwan. Today’s journey is interesting because the landscape slowly changes. The cool mountain breeze gives way to warmer plains as you descend towards the Terai region of Nepal.
The drive is scenic yet relaxing, passing through small villages, green fields, and forest stretches. Upon arrival in Chitwan, you check into your jungle resort. The atmosphere here feels completely different — quieter, greener, and closer to nature.
In the evening, you enjoy a traditional Tharu Cultural Dance program. The local Tharu community performs energetic folk dances that reflect their tribal heritage and deep connection with the forest. It’s a beautiful cultural experience that adds warmth to the day.
After dinner, you relax at the resort, surrounded by nature sounds. Overnight stay in Chitwan.
Day 6 – Return to Kathmandu via Nagarkot
After breakfast, you begin your drive back to Kathmandu. The journey once again offers scenic views of hills and rivers.
On the way, you proceed to Nagarkot, a beautiful hill station known for Himalayan views. If the weather is clear, you can witness breathtaking panoramic mountain scenery. The peaceful atmosphere here gives a perfect ending touch to your Nepal journey.
By evening, return to Kathmandu and check into your hotel. You may spend your last evening shopping or simply relaxing.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 7 – Departure with Beautiful Memories
After breakfast, it is time to check out from the hotel. You are transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
As you leave Nepal, you carry with you spiritual blessings, scenic memories, wildlife adventures, and peaceful moments by the lakes.
