valleys, the tour transitions to Meghalaya's rolling hills, exploring Shillong's colonial charm and Cherrapunjee's record-breaking rainfall phenomena. The expedition concludes

Day wise Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Guwahati | Transfer to Shillong
Arrival at Guwahati Airport, group assembles and begins the journey towards Shillong, the “Scotland of the East.” The drive is scenic with lush greenery and pleasant hills welcoming you into Meghalaya. Enroute, halt at the beautiful Umiam Lake, a vast water reservoir surrounded by hills, perfect for photos and relaxation.
Continue the drive to Shillong and check into the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed walk at Police Bazaar, the main market area filled with cafes, local handicrafts, and street shopping options.
Dinner and overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 2 – Shillong Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore Shillong’s charming attractions. Visit Ward’s Lake, a peaceful spot ideal for a morning stroll, followed by the Don Bosco Museum showcasing North East tribal culture.
Later visit Shillong Peak for panoramic views of the city and Elephant Falls, one of the most famous waterfalls in Meghalaya.
Evening is free for leisure or shopping.
Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 3 – Shillong → Cherrapunji
After breakfast, proceed to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. The drive itself is stunning with misty hills and waterfalls.
Visit Nohkalikai Falls (India’s tallest plunge waterfall), Seven Sisters Falls, and Mawsmai Cave, a limestone cave offering a fun exploration experience.
Also visit Eco Park for breathtaking valley views.
Check-in and overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Day 4 – Cherrapunji → Dawki → Shillong
Early morning departure for Dawki, famous for the crystal-clear Umngot River where boats appear to float on air. Enjoy boating (optional) and soak in the beauty.
Visit Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village, known for its cleanliness and bamboo skywalk offering views of Bangladesh plains.
Return to Shillong by evening.
Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 5 – Shillong → Kaziranga National Park
After breakfast, proceed to Kaziranga National Park in Assam, home to the famous one-horned rhinoceros.
The journey takes you from hills to plains, showcasing a different side of the North East.
Check-in at the resort and enjoy a relaxed evening amidst nature.
Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 6 – Kaziranga Safari → Bhalukpong
Early morning enjoy Elephant Safari (optional) in Kaziranga, followed by Jeep Safari.
After breakfast, proceed towards Bhalukpong, the entry point of Arunachal Pradesh.
Enjoy scenic views along the journey with rivers and forests.
Overnight stay in Bhalukpong.
Day 7 – Bhalukpong → Dirang
After breakfast, drive towards Dirang, a peaceful hill town.
Enroute enjoy beautiful valleys, waterfalls and river views. Visit Dirang Monastery and hot water springs if time permits.

Day 8 – Dirang → Tawang
Today is one of the most scenic drives of the trip. Cross the famous Sela Pass (13,700 ft), often covered with snow and offering breathtaking views.
Visit Sela Lake and Jaswant Garh War Memorial enroute.
Arrive in Tawang by evening.
Overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 9 – Tawang Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore Tawang. Visit the famous Tawang Monastery, one of the largest in India.
Also visit War Memorial and enjoy views of surrounding valleys.
Optional visit to Madhuri Lake (if weather permits).
Evening at leisure.
Overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 10 – Tawang → Bomdila
After breakfast, drive back towards Bomdila.
Enjoy scenic landscapes once again while descending from high mountains.
Visit Bomdila Monastery and local market.

Day 11 – Bomdila → Guwahati | Departure
After breakfast, proceed to Guwahati.
