Tour Summary – Assam · Meghalaya · Arunachal Pradesh

Get ready for an unforgettable journey through the heart of India’s magical Northeast! This 11-day expedition takes you across three stunning states — the serene plains of Assam, the misty hills of Meghalaya, and the snow-capped valleys of Arunachal Pradesh.

The tour begins in Guwahati, where the sacred Kamakhya Temple and the mighty Brahmaputra River welcome you with divine charm. From there, travel through lush green valleys and pine-scented hills to Bhalukpong and Dirang, gateways to the Himalayas. Climb higher to reach Tawang, home to India’s largest Buddhist monastery and the legendary Bum La Pass near the Indo-China border.

As you descend, the beauty shifts — from the serene monasteries of Bomdila to the wild jungles of Kaziranga National Park, where one-horned rhinoceroses roam freely. Then head to Shillong, the “Scotland of the East,” and on to Cherrapunjee, the land of living root bridges, gushing waterfalls, and endless clouds.

This journey offers a beautiful mix of nature, spirituality, and adventure — from snow peaks to tea gardens, and from ancient monasteries to tribal villages. Every day is a new landscape, every mile a new story.
