4-Day Ayodhya – Varanasi Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Ayodhya – The City of Lord Rama
Route: Lucknow / Gorakhpur → Ayodhya (140–160 km / 3–4 hours)
As your journey begins, the landscape changes into fields, small villages, and temple towns. Upon reaching Ayodhya, the holy city where Lord Rama was born, the air itself feels sacred.
After hotel check-in and some rest, the sightseeing starts with Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, the heart of Ayodhya and the center of devotion for millions. Later, visit Hanuman Garhi, a temple where Lord Hanuman is believed to guard the entire city.
In the evening, stroll along the Saryu River Ghats. Witness the Saryu Aarti, where hundreds of diyas float on the river creating a golden glow. The chants, bells, and devotion will make you feel the spiritual power of this ancient city.

Day 2: Exploring Ayodhya’s Spiritual Heritage
Wake up to the sound of temple bells and enjoy a peaceful morning walk along the ghats.

Kanak Bhavan, where Goddess Sita and Lord Rama are worshipped together.
Treta Ke Thakur, known for its historic idols said to be established by Lord Rama himself.

Day 3: Ayodhya → Varanasi – The City of Lord Shiva

After breakfast, depart for Varanasi, one of the oldest living cities in the world and the spiritual capital of India.
On arrival, check into your hotel and relax for a while.
By evening, head to the Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. Priests in saffron robes, chanting mantras, and synchronized rituals with lamps and conch shells create a divine atmosphere. Watching thousands of diyas floating on the Ganges is a sight you will never forget.
Later, take a short stroll through the narrow lanes, tasting Varanasi’s famous chaat and benarasi paan.
