Starting from Delhi, the trip gradually takes you into the cool valleys of Mussoorie, where colonial charm meets lively streets and panoramic views. The itinerary then transitions into quieter and less crowded destinations like Dhanaulti and Chakrata, offering untouched nature, forest landscapes, and breathtaking viewpoints.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 – 8 April

Delhi to Mussoorie (via Dehradun) | Arrival & Relaxation

Arrive in Delhi at 6:00 AM and begin your journey towards Mussoorie. The drive to Dehradun takes around 5.5 to 6 hours, with a comfortable breakfast stop en route. As you enter Uttarakhand, the plains gradually transition into beautiful hill roads.

From Dehradun, continue the scenic uphill drive to Mussoorie (approx. 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax.

In the evening, enjoy a gentle walk on Mall Road, explore local shops, and try some snacks at a café.

Overnight stay in Mussoorie.


Day 2 – 9 April

Mussoorie Sightseeing | Classic Attractions

After breakfast, begin your Mussoorie sightseeing.

Visit Kempty Falls where you can spend some relaxed time near the waterfall. Continue to Gun Hill for panoramic views of the Himalayas (ropeway optional). Later, explore Company Garden and enjoy the greenery and peaceful surroundings.

In the evening, walk along Camel’s Back Road and witness a beautiful sunset.

Return to the hotel after enjoying Mall Road.

Overnight stay in Mussoorie.


Day 3 – 10 April

Dhanaulti & Kanatal Excursion | Nature Day

After breakfast, head towards Dhanaulti (approx. 2 hours).

Visit Eco Park and enjoy a peaceful nature walk among tall deodar trees. If interested, visit Surkanda Devi Temple (light trek with amazing views). Continue to Kanatal, known for its calm and scenic environment.

Spend quality time in nature away from crowds.

Return to Mussoorie by evening and relax.

Day 4 – 11 April

Mussoorie Leisure Day | Cafes & Local Exploration

This extra day is your relaxation bonus 😄

Wake up at your own pace and enjoy breakfast leisurely. Today is kept free so you can explore Mussoorie without any fixed schedule.

You can:

  • Visit Landour (quiet and beautiful area)

  • Explore cafes like Char Dukan

  • Do shopping on Mall Road

  • Simply relax at the hotel with valley views

This day ensures you don’t feel rushed at all.

Day 5 – 12 April

Mussoorie to Chakrata | Scenic Transfer

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Chakrata (approx. 4–5 hours).

The journey is scenic, passing through forests and less crowded mountain routes. Reach Chakrata and check into your hotel.

Spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Overnight stay in Chakrata.


Day 6 – 13 April

Chakrata Sightseeing | Waterfalls & Views

After breakfast, explore Chakrata.

Visit Tiger Falls, a beautiful waterfall requiring a short and easy trek. Continue to Deoban Forest, known for dense greenery and Himalayan views.

Later, visit Chilmiri Neck, a famous sunset point offering wide valley views. If time permits, explore Budher Caves.

Return to hotel and relax.

Day 7 – 14 April

Chakrata to Dehradun | Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive to Dehradun (3–4 hours).

Check into your hotel and freshen up. Later, visit Robber’s Cave and Sahastradhara. You may also explore the Forest Research Institute if time allows.

Evening at leisure.

Overnight stay in Dehradun.


Day 8 – 15 April

Dehradun to Delhi | Departure

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Delhi (5–6 hours).

  • Standard Check-in and check-out time of hotels in India is generally 1.30 PM and 10 AM respectively.

Advanced Preparation

  • As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.

  • Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.

  • It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.

  • A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.

  • Though Bharatatva provides all three meals, that is breakfast, dinner and Bharatatva treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.

  • If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.

  • For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.

  • Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.

Payments & Cancellation Terms

  • Guests will be needed to pay an advance booking amount of Rs.10,000/- per person to raise invoice and Air/ Train Ticket Blocking/Booking.

  • Anu Discount/ offer Coupon Codes are to be informed before Raising the invoice.

  • 50% Advance at the Time of booking after receiving Invoice and rest 15 Days prior to tour start date.

  • Any Air/ Train Bookings to be made should be paid 100% in advance

  • In case of offers applied with more than 40% Discount then 100% in Advance.

  • 0% Cancellation for any land package bookings 45 Days before departure.

  • 30% Cancellation for any land package bookings 15 Days before departure.

  • 100% Cancellation for any land package bookings 7 Days before departure.

  • Cancellation of Air/ Train Tickets subject to cancellation policy of respective train/ flight operator.

  • Guest can pay by Cash /Online Transfer/ Cheque/ Demand Draft / Debit card / credit card.

  • For Debit / Credit Card payments 1.8% additional convenience charge will be applicable 

  • All Payments to be made via Official Payment link or Bank details provided on Invoice.
