Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 – Nashik to Kevadiya (Statue of Unity Arrival)

The journey begins early morning from Nashik as you drive across the scenic plains of Maharashtra into Gujarat — the land of legends and colors. Passing through Vadodara district, you’ll reach Kevadiya, home to the iconic Statue of Unity, the tallest statue in the world at 182 meters, dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Upon arrival by evening, check into your hotel or tent city surrounded by lush hills and the serene Narmada River. After a refreshing break, head to the Statue of Unity Viewing Deck to witness its majestic glow during sunset. The surrounding area is beautifully landscaped with musical fountains, gardens, and illuminated walkways. As night falls, attend the Light and Sound Show, which narrates the inspiring story of India’s Iron Man and the nation’s unity. End your day with a leisurely stroll along the Valley of Flowers and dinner under the starlit sky.🛏 Overnight in Kevadiya

Day 2 – Explore Kevadiya: Nature, Culture & Innovation

Wake up to a fresh morning in Kevadiya, where nature and engineering coexist in harmony. After breakfast, begin your exploration with a visit to the Sardar Patel Museum, showcasing India’s freedom struggle and Patel’s role in uniting the country. Proceed to the Viewing Gallery at the Statue’s chest level for panoramic views of the Sardar Sarovar Dam and the Narmada River flowing through the valley. Later, visit the Cactus Garden — home to over 400 species of cactus and succulents — followed by the colorful Butterfly Garden nearby. For nature enthusiasts, the Jungle Safari Park offers a close encounter with tigers, lions, and exotic birds. By afternoon, take an optional Ekta Cruise Ride on the Narmada River — a soothing experience with scenic views of the statue and dam from the water. Spend the evening visiting Glow Garden, where glowing art installations create a fairytale atmosphere. The combination of lights, music, and culture makes Kevadiya an unforgettable destination.🛏 Overnight in Kevadiya

Day 3 – Kevadiya to Ahmedabad (Heritage Drive)

After breakfast, check out from Kevadiya and begin your journey to Ahmedabad, Gujarat’s largest and most vibrant city (approx. 5 hrs). En route, enjoy glimpses of village life, fields of cotton and millet, and roadside dhabas serving authentic Gujarati meals. Upon reaching Ahmedabad, check into your hotel and relax for a while. Begin your city tour with a visit to Sabarmati Ashram, the peaceful retreat of Mahatma Gandhi. Walk along the riverfront where Gandhiji lived, wrote, and planned the Dandi March. Next, explore Adalaj Stepwell, an architectural wonder from the 15th century with carved pillars, spiral stairs, and intricate stone motifs depicting mythological scenes. In the evening, visit the Sabarmati Riverfront, a symbol of modern Ahmedabad’s elegance, where you can enjoy a riverside stroll or boat ride. Later, explore the bustling Manek Chowk Night Market, famous for its traditional street food and jewelry. Ahmedabad perfectly blends old-world charm and modern vibrance.🛏 Overnight in Ahmedabad

Day 4 – Ahmedabad to Dholavira (Journey into the Ancient World)

Today’s drive takes you deep into the Rann of Kutch, toward Dholavira — one of the most significant archaeological sites of the Indus Valley Civilization (approx. 7–8 hrs drive). After breakfast, set off through Gujarat’s changing landscapes — from green fields to vast white salt deserts. En route, take a short halt for lunch at a local dhaba before entering the Khadir Bet island, where Dholavira is located. On arrival by evening, check into your resort or homestay surrounded by the calm desert. As dusk approaches, walk to a nearby viewpoint to watch the sun dip below the horizon, painting the white salt plains in shades of gold and pink. Later, enjoy a traditional Kutchi dinner prepared with local spices. Dholavira’s night sky, unpolluted and endless, offers a perfect opportunity for stargazing — the Milky Way often visible with the naked eye.🛏 Overnight in Dholavira

Day 5 – Exploring the Harappan City of Dholavira

After breakfast, embark on a journey back in time as you visit the Archaeological Site of Dholavira, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back over 4,500 years. Walk through the well-planned streets, water reservoirs, stepwells, and citadel walls — evidence of one of the world’s earliest urban civilizations. The on-site museum offers fascinating insights into artifacts like seals, beads, and pottery recovered from the site. Afterward, drive to the nearby White Rann viewpoint to witness the surreal beauty of the salt desert, especially under the bright afternoon sun when the land seems to merge with the sky. Return to your resort for lunch and relax. In the evening, enjoy a folk dance performance by local Kutchi artists, reflecting their desert spirit and colorful traditions. This day is a rare mix of history, art, and culture in one unforgettable setting.🛏 Overnight in Dholavira

Day 6 – Excursion to Narayan Sarovar & Koteshwar Temple

After an early breakfast, embark on a day trip to Narayan Sarovar and Koteshwar Temple (approx. 4 hrs one way). The road passes through rustic villages and arid desert stretches, leading to the sacred lake of Narayan Sarovar — one of the five holy lakes in Hindu belief. Visit the temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu and take a peaceful stroll along the lake’s edge. Continue to Koteshwar Mahadev Temple, located dramatically on the Arabian Sea’s edge. The sound of waves crashing against temple steps creates a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Enjoy a packed or local meal en route before returning to Dholavira by evening. The drive back offers breathtaking sunset views over the salt desert, making this one of the most scenic experiences of your journey.🛏 Overnight in Dholavira

Day 7 – Dholavira to Ahmedabad

After breakfast, bid farewell to the tranquil desert and drive back to Ahmedabad. Stop along the way for tea breaks and local snacks at roadside stalls. Arrive by evening and check in to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure — you may revisit the Riverfront, shop for Bandhani sarees and handicrafts, or simply enjoy a Gujarati thali dinner. Ahmedabad’s hospitality and vibrance provide a warm return to city life after days of desert adventure.🛏 Overnight in Ahmedabad

Day 8 – Ahmedabad to Vadodara (Cultural Capital of Gujarat)

After breakfast, drive to Vadodara (Baroda), the royal city of the Gaekwad dynasty (approx. 2 hrs). Begin your sightseeing with the magnificent Laxmi Vilas Palace, four times the size of Buckingham Palace, still home to the royal family. Explore Sayaji Garden (Kamati Baug) — one of India’s largest public gardens — with its zoo, museums, and toy train. Later, visit Baroda Museum & Art Gallery for a glimpse into royal art collections and history. In the evening, enjoy local shopping at Alkapuri and street snacks like sev usal and khaman dhokla.🛏 Overnight in Vadodara

Day 9 – Vadodara to Nashik (Return Journey)

After breakfast, check out and start your return journey to Nashik. The long but scenic drive gives you time to reflect on your incredible experiences — from the towering Statue of Unity to the ancient ruins of Dholavira and the divine calm of Narayan Sarovar. You’ll reach Nashik by late evening, completing a memorable circuit across Gujarat’s wonders.🎉 End of Tour – Memories for a Lifetime
