Day wise Itinerary
Day 1: Nashik to Kevadiya (Statue of Unity Region)
Route: via Saputara – 340 km / 7–8 hrs
Begin your journey early morning from Nashik. Passing through the scenic Saputara Ghat, you’ll enjoy the lush green fields, villages, and the gradual transition into Gujarat. Along the way, visit the sacred Kuber Bhandari Temple and Garudeshwar Temple on the banks of the Narmada River—peaceful shrines surrounded by divine serenity. Pause here for a short rest and river views before continuing towards Kevadiya (Ekta Nagar). On arrival by afternoon, check in at your hotel. In the evening, take a stroll by the Narmada riverside, taste local snacks, and get familiar with this gateway to Gujarat.
Day 2: Kevadiya – Statue of Unity & Eco Attractions
Today is devoted to the world’s tallest statue—the Statue of Unity and its surrounding attractions. Start with a grand darshan of the statue and enjoy panoramic views from its gallery. Visit the museum that highlights India’s freedom movement. Stroll through the colorful Valley of Flowers, enjoy a Wildlife Safari with deer, peacocks, monkeys, and explore the Butterfly Garden, Cactus Garden, and Arogya Van. By evening, the Glow Garden lights up in vibrant hues, creating a magical atmosphere. Kevadiya showcases a perfect blend of modern marvel and natural beauty.
Day 3: Kevadiya to Ahmedabad
Route: 200 km / 2–2.5 hrs
Drive to Gujarat’s cultural capital—Ahmedabad. On arrival, walk along the peaceful Sabarmati Riverfront lined with gardens and street food stalls. Later, visit the historic Sabarmati Ashram, where Gandhiji lived during the freedom struggle. In the evening, immerse yourself in the buzzing charm of Manek Chowk, relishing Gujarati delicacies and sweets. Ahmedabad blends tradition and modernity beautifully.
Day 4: Ahmedabad – Siddhpur – Patan – Dholavira
Route: Ahmedabad–Siddhpur 125 km / 2–3 hrs, Siddhpur–Dholavira 265 km / 5 hrs
Set out early for a history-rich day. At Siddhpur, experience the sacred Matrugaya Kshetra. Continue to Patan to marvel at Rani ki Vav, a UNESCO World Heritage stepwell, and witness the intricate art of handwoven Patola sarees at a traditional workshop. After lunch, proceed towards Dholavira in Kutch and check in. By evening, enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the White Rann.
Day 5: Dholavira & Kutch Safari
Route: approx. 200 km circuit
At dawn, witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the White Desert. Explore the archaeological remains of the Indus Valley Civilization—excavated ruins, water management systems, and the museum. Later, head to Kalo Dungar (Black Hill) for panoramic desert views and the unique Zero Gravity Point. At Dhordo, enjoy camel rides, folk dances, and handicraft stalls amidst the salt desert. End the day with the Nadabet Border Retreat, where military parades showcase patriotic spirit. Overnight in Dholavira.
Day 6: Dholavira – Narayan Sarovar & Western Edge – back to Dholavira
Route: 250 km circuit
Today explore the westernmost frontier of India. Visit Mata-no-Madh, a revered Shakti Peeth, and then Hajipir Shrine, reflecting cultural harmony. Continue to Narayan Sarovar, a sacred lake surrounded by temples. Finally, reach the Koteshwar Mahadev Temple by the sea—the last land point of western India. Return to Dholavira by evening, and enjoy a starry night under the desert sky.
Day 7: Dholavira – Modhera – Ahmedabad
Route: Dholavira–Modhera 230 km / 4–4.5 hrs, Modhera–Ahmedabad 100 km / 2 hrs
A long but rewarding day. En route, visit the stunning Sun Temple of Modhera, an architectural masterpiece. Later, stop at the Adalaj Stepwell, renowned for its intricate carvings. Arrive in Ahmedabad by evening, relax at your hotel or enjoy a riverfront walk. Overnight in Ahmedabad.
Day 8: Ahmedabad – Vadodara Sightseeing
Route: 200 km / 2–3 hrs
Drive to Vadodara, a city rich in royal heritage. Visit the grand Laxmi Vilas Palace, explore the unique EME Temple, and spend leisure time in Kamati Baug Gardens. In the evening, witness the illuminated Sur Sagar Lake and vibrant local streets. End with delicious Gujarati cuisine at the bustling night market. Overnight in Vadodara.
Day 9: Vadodara to Nashik (Return Journey)
Route: 360 km / 7–8 hrs
Begin your final journey back to Nashik. Stop for refreshments at Surat or Ankleshwar. En route, enjoy views of Gujarat’s fields, villages, and wetlands. By evening, arrive in Nashik with hearts full of memories, souvenirs, and stories from an unforgettable Gujarat expedition.
