After soaking in this beauty, we continue to Patan, a city famous for two things—heritage and handlooms. Women in vibrant mirror-work dresses, children waving as your vehicle passes, and occasionally spotting herds of camels or sheep—every moment feels like stepping into a postcard.

By noon, you reach Dhordo, where the authentic Kutchi atmosphere welcomes you warmly. Traditional Bhungas, colorful handicraft stalls, leatherwork artisans, and local musicians create a festive vibe. As you drive through the outskirts of Bhuj, the landscape gradually shifts from dry desert plains to greener fields, small villages, and open highways lined with neem and banyan trees.

The journey is dotted with traditional dhabas serving hot rotlas, ghee-rich Gujarati sabzis, chaas, and freshly made thepla—perfect for a comforting roadside lunch. Along the way, you’ll often spot herds of cattle crossing the road, camel carts lazily trotting by, and women carrying colourful pots on their heads—scenes that beautifully capture the rustic charm of rural Gujarat.

As you move closer to Ahmedabad, the scenery subtly transitions into wider roads, modern buildings, and the familiar energy of a major city. By late afternoon or early evening, you reach your hotel in Ahmedabad and check in for a relaxed stay.

Day 7: Ahmedabad – Kevadiya (Statue of Unity) – Kevadiya

Your first stop is the colourful Valley of Flowers, a vibrant garden spread across several landscaped zones. Thousands of blooming plants, butterfly corners, artistic installations, and picturesque viewpoints make it a photographer’s paradise. The gentle Narmada breeze, along with sweeping glimpses of the Statue standing tall in the distance, sets a magical tone.

Next, you proceed towards the mighty Statue of Unity, a 182-metre tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel—the tallest statue in the world. The entry plaza, museum, audio-visual gallery, and exhibits narrate Patel’s extraordinary journey and India’s story of unity. Depending on your flight or train timing, you may explore a few final gems of the city—Sabarmati Ashram, Adalaj Ni Vav, or a calm stroll by the Sabarmati Riverfront.

Finally, you head towards Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station with a heart full of memories—of the shining White Rann, the patriotic thrill of Nadabet, the ancient wonders of Modhera and Patan, the creativity of Bhuj, and the majestic presence of the Statue of Unity.
