Day 1 – Arrival in Varanasi

Arrival at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station where our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with the transfer to your hotel. Varanasi, also known as Kashi, is one of the oldest living cities in the world and an important spiritual center of India. The city is situated on the banks of the holy River Ganga and attracts pilgrims and travelers from across the globe.

After check-in at the hotel, take some time to relax after the journey. In the afternoon or evening, proceed towards the famous ghats of Varanasi. These ghats are stone steps that lead down to the river and are an important part of the city’s spiritual life. Pilgrims come here to perform rituals, offer prayers and take a holy dip in the sacred waters of the Ganga.

Later in the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. This is one of the most famous spiritual ceremonies in India. During the Aarti, priests perform rituals with large brass lamps, incense sticks and chanting of Vedic mantras. The rhythmic sound of bells, the glow of lamps and the devotional atmosphere create a truly divine experience.

Visitors can also take a short walk along the ghats and observe the unique lifestyle of the city. Sadhus meditating, devotees offering prayers and the sound of temple bells give a glimpse into the deep spiritual culture of Varanasi.

Day 2 – Varanasi Sightseeing & Sarnath

Early in the morning, experience one of the most beautiful moments of Varanasi with a sunrise boat ride on the River Ganga. As the first rays of the sun illuminate the ghats, the river comes alive with pilgrims performing prayers and rituals along the banks. This peaceful boat ride offers a wonderful view of the historic ghats and the spiritual life of the city.

After the boat ride return to the hotel for breakfast. Later begin the sightseeing tour of Varanasi with a visit to the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple holds immense importance for devotees and is considered one of the holiest temples in India.

After darshan at Kashi Vishwanath Temple, visit Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and is visited by thousands of devotees every day. Continue to Durga Temple, also known as the Monkey Temple due to the large number of monkeys in the area.

The tour then proceeds to Bharat Mata Temple, which is unique because it is dedicated to Mother India and features a large marble map of the country.

In the afternoon drive to Sarnath, located about 10 kilometers from Varanasi. This is the sacred place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Important attractions here include the Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa and the Sarnath Archaeological Museum.

After completing the sightseeing, return to Varanasi.

Day 3 – Excursion to Prayagraj

After breakfast, depart for a day excursion to Prayagraj, located around 120 kilometers from Varanasi. The journey takes approximately three hours by road and passes through the countryside of Uttar Pradesh.

Prayagraj, earlier known as Allahabad, is one of the most sacred pilgrimage destinations in India. The city is famous for the Triveni Sangam, the holy confluence of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati. According to Hindu belief, taking a holy dip at this sacred confluence helps cleanse sins and brings spiritual purification.

Upon arrival at Prayagraj, proceed towards the Sangam area where visitors can take a boat ride to reach the exact meeting point of the rivers. The sight of the different colored waters merging together is truly fascinating and spiritually uplifting.

After visiting the Sangam, proceed to the famous Hanuman Temple, which houses a unique reclining idol of Lord Hanuman. This temple is one of the most visited religious sites in Prayagraj.

Later visit Anand Bhavan, the historic residence of the Nehru family. This building has been converted into a museum and provides an insight into India’s freedom movement and the life of the Nehru family.

After completing the sightseeing tour, begin the return journey to Varanasi in the evening.

Day 4 – Varanasi to Ayodhya

After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Varanasi and begin the journey towards Ayodhya, one of the most sacred cities in India and the birthplace of Lord Ram. The drive from Varanasi to Ayodhya takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and passes through the rural landscapes of Uttar Pradesh, offering glimpses of traditional village life along the way.

Ayodhya holds immense religious significance in Hindu mythology and is mentioned in ancient scriptures such as the Ramayana. The city has been a center of devotion and pilgrimage for centuries and attracts thousands of devotees every year.

Upon arrival in Ayodhya, check in at the hotel and take some time to relax after the journey. In the evening, proceed to visit Ram Ki Paidi, a series of beautiful ghats built along the banks of the Sarayu River. This place is known for its peaceful atmosphere and is an important site for religious rituals and prayers.

Visitors can enjoy a quiet walk along the ghats while witnessing devotees offering prayers and performing rituals by the river. The serene environment and the sound of temple bells create a calm and spiritual experience.

Later, explore the nearby temple area and local markets where one can observe the devotional culture of the city. The streets of Ayodhya are filled with small temples, shops selling religious items and pilgrims chanting the name of Lord Ram.

After the evening visit, return to the hotel.

Day 5 – Ayodhya Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin the sightseeing tour of Ayodhya, a city deeply associated with the life of Lord Ram. The first and most important visit of the day is to the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram. The temple holds immense religious importance and attracts pilgrims from all over the country.

Devotees visit this sacred place to offer prayers and seek blessings. The atmosphere around the temple is filled with devotion and spirituality, making it a truly special experience for visitors.

Next, proceed to Hanuman Garhi, one of the most famous temples in Ayodhya dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple is located on a small hill and visitors need to climb a series of steps to reach the shrine. According to tradition, devotees first visit Hanuman Garhi before proceeding to Ram Janmabhoomi.

Later visit Kanak Bhawan, a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. The temple is known for its elegant architecture and the beautifully decorated idols of Ram and Sita.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the return journey to Varanasi. The drive takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and allows travellers to once again experience the scenic countryside of Uttar Pradesh.

On arrival in Varanasi, depending on the departure schedule, travellers may spend some free time exploring the local markets or visiting nearby temples. The markets of Varanasi are famous for traditional handicrafts, Banarasi silk sarees, religious items and souvenirs that reflect the rich culture of the city.

Travellers may also choose to take a short walk along the ghats of the Ganga to enjoy the spiritual atmosphere of the city one last time. Watching the daily life along the river and observing pilgrims performing rituals provides a beautiful closing experience to this sacred journey.
