Day wise Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Varanasi – The City of Light
Touchdown at Varanasi! As soon as you step out of the airport, the air feels different – older, wiser, and soaked in devotion. Our team gives you a warm welcome and you’re transferred to your hotel to relax and freshen up. But hey, don’t get too comfy, because the magic of Kashi awaits!
By evening, we head straight to the ghats for the world-famous Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Imagine hundreds of diyas glowing, priests chanting in rhythm, conch shells blowing – the river feels alive, like she's blessing every soul present. It’s not just a ritual, it’s an emotion.
After soaking in this divine experience, we enjoy a traditional dinner and head back to the hotel. With Varanasi’s chants still echoing in your ears, you’ll drift off into a peaceful sleep.
Day 2: Kashi Darshan & Sarnath – Of Temples and Teachings
Rise and shine! Today we explore the heart of Varanasi. First stop – the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most sacred Jyotirlingas. The energy here is electric. Devotees chant “Har Har Mahadev” with such intensity, it feels like the whole city is vibrating.
From there, we dive into the narrow gallis (lanes) of the old city, visiting Kal Bhairav Temple, Annapurna Devi Mandir, and the charming lanes where time stands still. We even try the iconic Banarasi paan and lassi – because what’s Kashi without a bit of flavour?
Post lunch, we head to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. The peaceful vibes of Dhamek Stupa and the Ashokan Pillar are a stark yet calming contrast to Kashi’s high-voltage energy. It's the perfect spiritual balance.
Return to Varanasi in the evening and enjoy a quiet dinner before wrapping up a spiritually fulfilling day.
Day 3: Prayagraj – Where Three Rivers Meet
Bags packed early, we’re off to Prayagraj (Allahabad) – a city where three holy rivers meet and history breathes from every corner. After a scenic drive, our first stop is Triveni Sangam – the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati. Take a boat ride to the exact meeting point and if you're feeling spiritual, a holy dip is a must!
Later, we visit Bade Hanuman Mandir, said to house a reclining idol of Hanuman Ji – a unique and powerful darshan experience. Next, we explore the Akshaya Vat tree and Anand Bhavan – the ancestral home of the Nehrus, adding a dash of history to our spiritual trip.
We’ll have lunch on the way and later proceed towards Sitamarhi. Tucked away quietly, this place is believed to be where Maa Sita stayed during her exile. The temple here exudes calmness and simplicity. No crowds, no chaos – just a heartfelt connect.
By evening, we continue our journey towards Ayodhya. Check-in at the hotel and rest well – for tomorrow, you walk the divine footsteps of Lord Ram.
Day 4: Ayodhya – Ram Janmabhoomi Darshan & Divine Trail
Good morning from Ayodhya, the birthplace of Bhagwan Shri Ram! Today is the spiritual highlight of the trip. After breakfast, we head straight to the magnificent Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir – a dream fulfilled after centuries. The temple is not just stunning in design but overflowing with spiritual energy. Every chant of “Jai Shri Ram” hits differently when you’re standing at the very spot where Ram Lalla was born.
We then visit Hanuman Garhi, a hilltop temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, followed by Kanak Bhawan – believed to be the palace gifted to Sita by Kaikeyi. The idols here are adorned with gold jewellery and bright attire – simply divine!
Take a serene walk along Ram Ki Paidi, the ghats by River Saryu, and if you’re lucky, witness another magical Aarti ceremony here too. We wind down with some local shopping and snacks – don’t forget to pick up Ramayana souvenirs and Ayodhya’s famous peda!
Dinner at the hotel and a cozy night’s rest ends our divine day in Ram Nagari.
Day 5: Ayodhya to Lucknow – Nawabi Swag Incoming!
After a hearty breakfast, we say goodbye to Ayodhya and begin our journey to Lucknow – the City of Nawabs. The roads are smooth, the fields green, and your playlist? Full of devotional melodies and ghazals, because Lucknow is calling!
On arrival, we check in and enjoy a leisurely lunch. Post that, it’s time to explore the royal side of town. First stop – Bada Imambara, an architectural wonder with no beams holding its massive ceiling. Don’t miss the Bhool Bhulaiya – a labyrinth of mysterious passages that’ll thrill you!
Next up is Rumi Darwaza, the iconic arched gateway that feels straight out of a Mughal fairy tale. Evening stroll in Hazratganj market is a must – classy shops, old-world charm, and tempting chaat corners at every turn.
Dinner includes an option to try authentic Awadhi cuisine – think kebabs, biryanis, and sheermal. It’s not just food, it’s a cultural experience!
Return to your hotel, content and maybe just a little full. Tomorrow, we wrap up with the final chapter.
Day 6: Lucknow City Tour – Culture, Crafts & Cuisine
Today’s all about soaking in the charm of Lucknow. We begin with the Chota Imambara, a stunning mix of Indo-Islamic architecture with chandeliers and tombs of Nawabs. Then we drive past the majestic Clock Tower and Residency ruins, where history meets tragedy in the tale of 1857’s revolt.
Visit Ambedkar Memorial Park – a modern, grand, and photo-perfect destination that surprises everyone with its scale and structure.
After lunch, time for some last-minute shopping! Be it Chikan embroidery, ittar (perfume), or local handicrafts – Lucknow never disappoints. Pick up a kurta or two, or maybe a box of melt-in-mouth Tunday Kababs for the folks back home.
Evening is free to relax, take a final stroll through the Ganj, and enjoy one last dinner in this culturally rich city.
Sleep early, because tomorrow we fly out with hearts full of memories.
Day 7: Departure – Until Next Time
The final day is here. After breakfast, we pack our bags, share contacts with new friends, and head towards the airport. Some fly back from Lucknow, others may travel back to Varanasi depending on their route. Either way, the journey ends, but the memories? Lifelong.
You came as a traveler. You return as a pilgrim.
