Day 01:

Arrive in Mumbai

This exciting Maharashtra tour starts as you arrive at the Mumbai Airport. After that, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel and rest in your pre-assisted room for a while. After that, it is up to you whether you want to explore nearby markets and tourist attractions or stay in your room. Later, you will enjoy the delicious dinner and doze off in your room.

Day 02:

Mumbai Sightseeing

Wake up and munch your breakfast, and proceed for sightseeing in Mumbai. You will take a motorboat from the Gateway of India to visit Elephanta Caves, known for a huge Trimurthi idol, a triple-headed Shiva. You will visit the Hanging Gardens, Prince of Wales Museum, Parliament House, Jain Temple, and Marine Drive. After enjoying your fun-filled day in Mumbai, you will return to your hotel to have dinner and overnight.

Day 03:

Mumbai - Lonavala

Wake up and munch your breakfast in your hotel room. After that, you can visit nearby tourist attractions and return to your hotel. Then, you have lunch and drive towards the beautiful hill station Lonavala. Finally, check-in at your pre-booked hotel and rest for a while before exploring the beauty of Lonavala. Here, you will enjoy leisure activities, and you will also visit Karla and Bhaja Caves. Then, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04:

Lonavala - Khandala (50 km/1 hour 30 min- approx.)

Today, you will explore the attractions of Khandala. So after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and leave for Khandala. On arrival, check-in to your hotel and rest for a while. After that, you will enjoy Bhushi Dam and the refreshing environment of Khandala. Then, return to the hotel for a tasty dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05:

Khandala - Matheran

On this day of your Maharashtra tour, you will drive towards Matheran. After having your morning meal, start the 2-hour journey to Matheran. On arrival, explore the serene surroundings. Visit popular points like Louisa, Garbut Point, and Echo. Then, return to the hotel, munch your delicious dinner, and have an overnight stay.

Day 06:

Matheran - Nasik (170 km/4 hr-approx.)

This day of your tour is dedicated to spiritual touch. After breakfast, start a 2-hour journey towards Nashik. Check-in at the hotel, Afternoon, you will visit Sunder Narayan Temple, Sita gufaa, and Trimbakeshwar Temple in Nashik. Then, return to the hotel, have your lip-smacking dinner and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 07:

Nasik - Shirdi Sai Temple (110 km/ 2 hr 30 min-approx.)

Wake up early and have your first meal of the day. Once you finish your meal, you will leave for Shirdi Sai Temple; after arrival at Shirdi, check-in at the hotel. Later, have Darshan at the famous Sai Baba temple. Then, spend the day in Shirdi. Finally, enjoy your delicious dinner and sleep peacefully at the hotel.

Day 08:

Shirdi Sai Temple - Aurangabad (110 km/ 2 hr 30 min-approx.)

Wake up and start this day with a healthy meal in your room. After that, you will check-out from your hotel and start the 4-hour journey to Aurangabad. Check-in at the hotel. Later proceed for a city tour. You will visit the Daulatabad Fort, Deogiri Fortress, and Bibi ka Maqbara which looks like the Taj Mahal. Later, you will cover Panchakki, a striking water mill. Finally, back to the hotel for a tasty dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 09:

Aurangabad -Excursion to Ellora Caves

This day of this tour will give you a unique experience. Post breakfast, leave for an excursion to Ellora caves, a World Heritage site. These 34 caves, built during the 6th and 11th centuries, are dedicated to Buddhism, Brahmanism, and Jainism. Famous sites here are Viharaas, Kailasa Temple, and the Buddhist Vishvakarma Chaitya. Finally, after enjoying this day, you will return to Aurangabad for your last meal of the day and an overnight stay.

Day 10:

Aurangabad - Excursion to Ajanta Caves

Rise and shine and munch your breakfast. After breakfast, leave for an excursion to the Ajanta caves, a World Heritage Site. These 29 caves, built during the 2nd century and 6th century, are dedicated to Buddhism. Located in the Sahyadri hills, it has paintings and sculptures depicting the life and teachings of Lord Buddha. After an excursion to Ajanta caves, return to Aurangabad for an overnight stay.

Day 11:

Aurangabad - Mumbai (360 km/ 8 hr-approx.)

This is the last day of this Best of Maharashtra tour package. You will start your drive back to Mumbai airport to board a flight for the onward journey.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
