Day 01:

Chennai: And the journey begins!

Upon your arrival, meet our representative who will assist you to the hotel. Complete all your formalities and check in to your room to relax. Your dinner will be served after which taking a nap will be a good option.

Day 02:

Chennai: Sightseeing tour begins

Have a relaxing morning breakfast and some leisure time. After this, you will head out on a private guide tour of the entire city of Chennai. Your first destination of the day will be the beautifully designed Fort St. George which was built in 1640. This place currently serves as the Secretariat and the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. From there you will head to St. Mary's Church which is another phenomenal place to be at. Then explore the National Art Gallery that has a lot of historic depictions and artifacts.

Day 03:

Chennai: Enjoy at Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram

After having an early breakfast, you will be heading towards one of the most sacred Hindu cities named Kanchipuram. It is remarkable to see that there are close to 100 temples in such a small place. Most of these temples are either dedicated to Lord Shiva or Vishnu. After exploring the markets and visiting the temples, you will enjoy lunch at one of the best restaurants in town. After that, you will explore the other things in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. After that look at the mesmerizing Bhagiratha's Penance and the nearby shallow mandaps. Your final stop will be the Shore Temple, which is another good spot. After having a complete day of excursion you will then head back to Chennai to your hotel.

Day 04:

Thanjavur: Explore the ancient city

You will have an early breakfast after which you will have to check out from the hotel. Once you complete your formalities, our representative will assist you to the airport from where you will take a flight to Trichy. Upon arrival, our representative will help you in commuting to a local restaurant for scrumptious lunch. You will be then joined by a private guide who will help you in exploring the city better. The first attraction for you will be Srirangam that is famous for the massive Sri Ranganathaswamy temple. You will explore the entire temple and witness the beauty of the place. Post that you will be heading towards the Rock Fort Temple which is highly popular. Once you have visited all these places in Trichy, you will head on your journey to Thanjavur. Upon arrival, you will complete your check-in formalities and rest for the day. You will get your dinner on the premises itself.

Day 05:

Thanjavur: Sightseeing tour

This was once the capital of the Chola Dynasty and these people were great temple builders. This is the reason why Thanjavur is dotted with approximately 74 temples. After having your breakfast, you will be heading towards your first destination of the town and that's the Brihadeeswarar Temple which is also registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the phenomenal art gallery of the place. Your second half of the afternoon and the rest of the day will be left at your leisure to spend. Return to the hotel at night and have your dinner. Catch some sleep after that.

Day 06:

Madurai: Exploring the quaint city

Have a filling breakfast and head to the next destination which is Chettinad. This place holds a lot of historic significance. It is home to many temples and has a lot of tasty cuisine recipes for travelers. After enjoying the entire day, be a part of the puja ceremony and return to your hotel after that.

Day 07:

Madurai: Sightseeing tour of the city

Get a private guide who will help you in getting a complete tour of Madurai early in the morning. Return to the hotel for breakfast and then head to the next attraction that is the Meenakshi Amman Temple. Have a complete day of excursion and then return to your room for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 08:

Periyar: Head towards your next destination

After having your breakfast, head towards Kerala so that you can visit your next destination- Periyar. Upon arrival check in to your hotel and take some rest. From here you will start your memorable journey into the Western Ghats. Later in the afternoon visit the local spice plantations to enjoy the smell of fresh spines and understand the cultivation process. Return to your hotel in the evening to get some rest and dinner.

Day 09:

Kumarakom: Heading to the next destination

Check out from your hotel in Periyar after a scrumptious breakfast and now descend towards the village of Kumarakom. En route, stop for lunch at one of the best local restaurants in Kanjirappally. Upon arrival, check in to your lake-facing hotel room. Enjoy the view with coffee and take some rest in your room.

Day 10:

Kumarakom: Sightseeing of the village

Right from the morning, you will have a great day, the first thing is to travel to the spice plantation by boat. Explore it all and then head to the restaurant for lunch. You will be joined by the family of plantation owners to make it feel like home for you. Return to the hotel after the wonderful day for a filling dinner and comfortable sleep.

Day 11:

Kochi: A day to spend at your leisure!

Start the day with a morning to be spent at your leisure and then board a traditional houseboat for cruising in the backwaters. Enjoy the ride as Kerala is popular for its backwaters. Then treat yourself to a scrumptious lunch on the cruise itself. Start your journey to the next destination which is Kochi. Upon arrival check in to your hotel and have a good dinner. Take some rest afterward.

Day 12:

Kochi: Sightseeing tour in Kochi

Enjoy a filling breakfast and explore the tropical coastal city of Kochi. Check out the finest attractions and watch the Ramayana at Mattancherry Palace. Visit St. Francis Church. Afterward, turn towards the Greenix Theatre at the end of the day to enjoy Kathakali performers dancing. Return to the hotel and have dinner after which the rest of the time can be enjoyed at your leisure.

Day 13:

Kochi: Take back good memories

Check out from the hotel and head to the airport to board your flight for your onward journey.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
