Day 01:

Chennai

After arrival in Chennai, meet Bharatatva representative who will escort you to one of our listed hotels. After finishing check-in formalities, relax in your room for a while. Evening is free to visit local markets of Chennai. After surfing markets come to hotel for a lavish dinner. Overnight Stay in hotel.

Day 02:

Chennai

The next day after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Chennai. The major tourist attractions to visit include the Fort St. George, St. Thomas Mount, San Thome Cathedral, Kapaleeswar Temple and the National Art Gallery. In the evening visit the Marina beach that is both beautiful and inviting tourist from around the world. Don?t try swimming at Marina beach since there are strong currents present along the shoreline and no rescue equipments and lifeguards are available at this beach. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03:

Chennai

In the morning leave for an excursion to Kanchipuram. The major Kanchipuram tourist attractions include visits to the Kailasanthar Temple, Ekambareshwarar Temple, The Vardarajanperumal Temple and the Sakkiswarar Temple. In the evening return to hotel in Chennai for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04:

Chennai ? Mahabalipuram

Next morning after breakfast, drive towards Mahabalipuram. This 7th century former port city is famous for its rock-cut shore temples. On arrival, check-in at one our listed hotels. Later in the day visit the Shore and the Five Ratha temples. Also visit the other major attractions like Arjuna?s Penance and the Tiger caves. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05:

Mahabalipuram

After a leisurely morning move out to explore the beautiful beaches of Mahabalipuram. Spend the entire day resting and relaxing on the beaches. You may explore the nearby surroundings of the area. Later in the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06:

Mahabalipuram ? Tanjore

After breakfast head straight to Tanjore. It is known as the city of temples as it has many famous temples in and around the city including the Navagraha temples. On reaching Tanjore, check-in at one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while, set out on a guided city tour of Tanjore including major tourist destinations like the Vijayanagar Fort, Shiva Ganga Garden, Aalangudi temple, Brahadeshwara temple and the Chandra Bagawan Temple. In the evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07:

Tanjore ? Swamimalai

Post breakfast, set out to visit drive to Swamimalai. Stop midway to visit Chidambaram, and Gangaikonda Cholapuram. On reaching Swamimalai, transfer to one of our listed hotels. Later in the day visit the Swamimalai Murugan Temple. Enjoy a lavish dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14:

Thanjavur ? Trichy

Next morning on reaching Trichy, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Rest and relax for a while in your hotel room. The major tourist hotspots of Trichy include St John?s Church, Rock Fort, Viralimalai Murugan Temple, Government Museum and the Vayalur Murugan Temple. In the evening visit the Kallanai Dam. This dam is considered to be the oldest water regulator structure of the world which is still in use. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 15:

Trichy ? Madurai

In the morning wake-up early and drive to Madurai. On reaching Madurai-?The City famous for Meenakshi Temple?, check-in at one our listed hotels. In the afternoon, explore Meenakshi Temple for intricate design and beauty. In the afternoon, enjoy half-day trip to Tirumala Palace and the Gandhi Museum. Later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 16:

Madurai ? Rameshwaram ? Madurai

Next day is to be spent at your own discretion. You have the option to explore Rameshwaram- the holy sea. This town has a significant connection to the legend of Ramayana. Pay a visit to the famous temple, situated on the seaside. Spend overnight at a hotel, in Madurai.

Day 17:

Madurai ? Kovalam

In the morning drive towards Kovalam. Check-in at one of the listed hotels, on arrival. After relaxing for a while move out for an excursion to Kovalam Beach. The beach is ideal for various kinds of water sports like Kayaking, surfing, skiing and swimming. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Departure Chennai

Early morning after breakfast, transfer to Chennai airport to board a flight for the onwards journey.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
