Day 01:

Arrive Bangalore

Our representative will welcome you at the Bangalore Airport/Railway Station. You can freshen up and rest after you check in at your hotel. Then, you can use the remaining hours of the day to explore the nearby attractions. Finally, you can have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02:

Bangalore - Mysore

Early morning, post breakfast, excursion to various attractions of the 'The Garden City.' Visit Vidhan Sabha. The Neo-Dravidian style influences the architecture of the building. Later, visit the Bangalore Palace, built in the year 1887. The Tudor style of architecture is used in the construction of the palace. You may also visit the palace and the fort of Tipu Sultan, the architecture reflecting the ethnic Mughal era, and then continue your drive to Mysore. However, you can halt in the middle of your road trip to visit temples on the way to Mysore from Bangalore. Later, reach your hotel, check in, and freshen up. If time permits, visit nearby attractions or take gradual walks down the streets. Have dinner and stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 03:

Mysore

This day is dedicated to sightseeing in Mysore. First, you will visit Mysore Palace, built in 1912 in the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture. The palace's main elements include the Golden Royal Elephant Throne, the Durbar Hall, the Kalyana Mandap, and the Gallery. The palace's grandeur is simply amazing. Later in the evening, you may explore the colorful local markets of Mysore. You will then have dinner and stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 04:

Mysore - Ooty

After breakfast, get ready to visit Ooty. Enjoy some fantastic sights on the way. Reach your hotel and check-in. Later, you may use the remaining hours of the day to explore the town's attractions. You may take leisurely walks down the streets, enjoy delicious cuisines, communicate with the locals, etc. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05:

Ooty - Coimbatore (approx 88 Km / 3 Hrs) Coimbatore - Cochin

After breakfast, drive to Coimbatore Airport to catch the flight to Cochin. Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, you will be assisted and transferred to your hotel. Check-in, freshen up, and take a little rest. Later in the evening, enjoy watching the Kathakali folk dance show performed by local artists. Dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel follow.

Day 06:

Cochin

This day is dedicated to sightseeing in Cochin. Post breakfast, get ready to visit the Jewish Synagogue. The oldest synagogue, built in 1568, is adorned with beautiful hand-painted Chinese tiles in blue & white. After that, visit St. Francis Church, which was originally built out of wood in 1503. This church is famous as the oldest European church in India. Later, you may also visit the Dutch Palace. As you climb its stone steps, you enter a different world of palanquins and rich murals. You may also take pleasure in gradual walks down the cobbled streets. Return to your hotel for dinner and halt for an overnight stay.

Day 07:

Cochin - Periyar

After breakfast, drive to Periyar. Get transferred to your hotel in Periyar, check in, and freshen up. After some rest, enjoy a boat ride at the Lake in the evening. Later, use the remaining hours to communicate with the locals, take gradual walks down the streets, etc. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 08:

Periyar - Kumarakom

After breakfast, the morning is free to be spent at leisure. You may indulge in jungle activities. Later, drive to Kumarakom. On arrival, reach your hotel, check in, and rest. You may enjoy a boat ride at the Kumarakom Lake in the afternoon. The remaining day is free to be spent at leisure. You may take gradual walks near the Lake, talk to the locals, etc. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 09:

Kumarakom - Kovalam

After breakfast, drive to Kovalam. On arrival, check in to your hotel, freshen up, and rest. The remaining hours of the day are free to be spent at leisure. Day 10:

Kovalam

This day is free to be spent at leisure on the beach. Early in the morning, you may enjoy a sunbath on the beach. Later, you may take pleasure in various sports activities. You may also take gradual walks on the shore and enjoy food at the small joints. Later in the evening, you may also explore the local markets at the beach and buy souvenirs. Dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel follow.

Day 11:

Kovalam - Madurai (By surface 264 Km / 6 Hrs drive Approx)

After breakfast, drive to Madurai. Upon arrival, get transferred and check in to your hotel. After some rest, visit Meenakshi Temple, designed by Vishwanatha Nayak in 1560 and later built during Tirumalai Nayak's reign. This 2000-year-old temple is nestled in the heart of the old town and is influenced by the Dravidian style of architecture. After that, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 12:

Madurai - Thanjavur

Drive to Thanjavur in the morning, after breakfast. On your arrival, reach your hotel, check-in, and rest. Later in the afternoon, get ready for sightseeing in Thanjavur. Visit Brihadeshwara Temple & Fort, built during the 10th century by the great Chola king Rajaraja Chola I. The temple and fort exhibit specimens of the stupendous Chola style of architecture. The dome on the top of the 63 meters is said to be constructed from a piece of granite weighing 81 tons. The Thanjavur Palace & Museum, adjacent to the temple, is masonry built by the Nayakas and Maratha around 1550. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 13:

Thanjavur - Pondicherry

After breakfast, drive to Pondicherry. En route, visit Chidambaram, the 9th-century Shiva Temple. You may find Shiva Nataraja, or the Dancing Shiva, standing in his cosmic dance pose. The temple also has 108 sculpted illustrations of Bharat Natya Shastra, Kumbakonam. Once in Pondicherry, check-in and take a little rest. Then, you can spend the remaining hours of the day taking gradual walks down the streets and exploring the nearby attractions. After dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 14:

Pondicherry - Chennai

The morning will be dedicated to sightseeing in Pondicherry. Visit Auroville and Sri Aurobindo Ashram, explore the archaeological excavations, and admire the French-period furniture. After that, drive to Chennai. After reaching Chennai, check in, freshen up, and rest. You may spend the remaining hours of the day exploring the nearby attractions. Day 15:

Chennai

This day is decided for sightseeing in Chennai. After breakfast, in the morning, prepare for an excursion to Kanchipuram Temple and Mahishasurmardini caves in Mahabalipuram. The temples at Kanchi are praised for beautiful temples with unique architectural beauty that bears eloquent testimony to its magnificent Dravidian heritage. Day 16:

Chennai - Departure

In the morning, you will receive on-time assistance and be transferred to the Chennai Airport/Railway Station to board the flight/train for your onward journey.
