This week-long ?Scenic Kashmir with Enchanting Ladakh? tour will take you on a whirlwind journey across several popular destinations, including Srinagar, Sonamarg, Kargil, Drass, Ulleytokpo, and Kardungla. During this 7 day journey, you?ll come across flower-filled meadows in Sonamarg, high passes in Ladakh, Tibetan Buddhist monasteries, and white sand dunes. Also, you can enjoy the balmy winds coming out of Pangong Lake. This trip will cover meals, sightseeing, accommodation, and transfers to give you a smooth traveling experience.

Day 01 :

Srinagar - Kargil

This incredible tour starts as you step out from the Srinagar Airport/ railway. Then, our tour representative will pick you up and leave by road to Kargil, which is around 205 kilometers. On the way, halt in Sonamarg, which is approximately 94 kilometers away. After that, you will leave for Drass Village, famous as the second coldest place in the world. Here, you?ll visit the Kargil war memorial. Finally, you?ll arrive in Kargil town in the evening and check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02:

Kargil - Ulley Camp

Post breakfast in the morning hit the road to Ulleytokpo, which is 160 kilometers away from Leh. On the way, visit an ancient rock-cut statue of Maitreya Buddha in Mulbekh village. After that, make a stopover for photos of the lunar landscapes in proximity to the Lamayuru monastery. You?ll arrive at the Ulley Resort for an overnight stay in the evening.

Day 03:

Ulley - Leh

Start your day with a road journey to Leh. On the way, visit the Likir monastery, Hall of Fame, and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar river. You?ll arrive in Leh in the afternoon, followed by check-in at the hotel. After that, rest for some time and get fresh and up. In the evening, around 4:00 PM, visit Shanti Stupa and the local bazaars in Leh. Finally, stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 04:

Leh

This day of your Kashmir Ladakh tour is fully dedicated to a sightseeing tour of the Indus Valley. After having your breakfast in the hotel room, you will embark on an expedition to cover all the beautiful and famous tourist places. Today, you will visit Thiksey monastery, Shey Palace, Stok Place, and Hemis monastery. Then, after having a well-spent day in Indus Valley, stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 05 :

Leh - Nubra Valley

After having a healthy breakfast in the hotel, take a road journey to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass in the morning. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel safari on the white sand dunes and explore Hunder, Diskit monasteries. Finally, stay overnight at the Deluxe Camp.

Day 06 :

Nubra Valley - Leh

After having your delicious breakfast, visit the Samstanling Monastery. In the afternoon, take a road trip back to Leh. The evening is free for individual activities. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 07 :

Leh to Pangong Lake

Wake up early in the morning and have a tasty and crunchy breakfast on your bed. After having your morning meal, you will be ready to enjoy a full-day excursion to Pangong Lake, one of the famous Blue lakes in Ladakh. After spending the day at leisure at this lake, drive back to Leh.

Day 08:

Leh - Departure

You will have your breakfast and get a private transfer to the airport to board a flight for your onward destination in the morning.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
Though Bharatatva provides all three meals, that is breakfast, dinner and Bharatatva treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
