Day 01:

Mumbai (Arrival)

On the 1st day of the Mumbai Kerala Tour, fly or take a train to Mumbai. Our representative will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. On arrival, check in and relax in the comforts of your room. Later, you can choose to go out for a walk around Juhu Beach.

Day 02:

Mumbai

Post breakfast, start your Mumbai Darshan. The places you will visit here include the Gateway of India, the Prince of Wales Museum, and the Juhu Beach. Later, visit the famous Elephanta Caves, known for its Hindu and Buddhist rock-cut temples.

Day 03:

Mumbai - Trivandrum - Kovalam

Today, say goodbye to the ?City of Dreams? and drive to the Mumbai airport to board a flight for Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala. Upon arrival, move towards Kovalam, and check in at the Somatheeram Ayurvedic Resort.

Day 04-5:

Somatheeram Ayurvedic Resort

Today, relax and enjoy the facilities offered in the Somatheeram Ayurvedic Resort. The facilities include yoga, a private beach, Ayurvedic massage and nature walk, etc. Stay overnight at the hotel in Kovalam.

Day 06:

Kovalam - Alleppey (Backwaters of Kerala)

On day 6 of your Mumbai Kerala trip, savor breakfast, and check out from the resort. Drive towards Alleppey. Here, cruise through the narrow canals and palm-fringed backwaters and marvel at the scenic beauty. All the meals are provided on board the houseboat.

Day 07:

Alleppey - Periyar

On day 7 of the tour, you leave by road for Thekkady, home to the renowned Periyar National Park. On the way, admire the scenic views of the mist-clad hills. On arrival in Periyar, check into the hotel. The day is booked to simply relax, marvel at the lush views, and explore the nearby area on your own.

Day 08:

Periyar

On the 8th day of the Kerala and Mumbai tour package, get ready for an exciting wildlife safari inside Periyar Tiger Reserve to spot the ferocious big cats. Thereafter, enjoy a boat safari ride on the placid waters of the famous Periyar Lake. Enjoy bird watching and spot herds of animals on the banks of the Lake.

Day 09:

Periyar - Kumarakom (122 km / 4 hours)

After breakfast, begin your road journey towards Kumarakom. This village on the Vembanad Lake offers lovely views of the splendid backwaters, well-equipped houseboats (locally called kettuvallam), and the very-popular Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. The restful location, palm-fringed backwaters, pleasant climate, and lush ambiance will make your Kerala Mumbai holiday memorable. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Then, explore the place on your own today.

Day 10:

Kumarakom - Cochin (48 km / 1.5 hours)

In the morning, hit the road to Cochin, and as you reach, continue to the hotel. After you complete the check-in, start your tour of Cochin. The famous attractions of Cochin that you visit today include the St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace, and the Jewish Synagogue. In the evening, attend a Kathakali dance performance.

Day 11:

Departure from Cochin

Today, you get an assisted transfer to the railway station/airport to board a train/flight for your onward destination.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
